Woj insists that KD taking the option is his last resort since at least three teams will still max him despite missing a season.

He's not playing next year.

Why not wait a year and accept a super max next year? What is he risking since he's not going to step on court this year? Teams won't offer it next yr? Doubtful.

No, I mean teams will offer him a multi year max deal right now, with no injury language, in a gamble he recovers.

$90m+ beats $32m.

What if his rehab goes shitty? What if he's never the same?

Get the max and get your guaranteed money.

This board is nuts right now. Nothing in your first paragraph is different about FA now than it was 2 weeks ago.

Durant- Knicks or Warriors max
Kawhi- Clippers or Raptors max
Klay- Warriors max

Kyrie- spending the next few weeks in silence to better understand the sound of a whisper

were and still are the most likely outcomes.

FA will be a shite show because teams are always dumb. The teama that max Jimmy, Harris, and Kemba are still there and they will still regret those moves.

I think we'll see more teams be real aggressive in the trade market with the Warriors hobbled for 19/20.

but there's little risk if the teams are going to pay the same guaranteed contract 12 months from now.

32 + 90 >>> 90 now.

big men i want to target:
Dedmon
JaMychael Green
Robin Lopez
Jerebko
Thomas Bryant
Willy Cauley Stein
Nerlens Noel

If we keep Okafor and get Yabusele and Williams, i'd prefer a guy like Green or Jerebko, cheap big that can hit a 3, and draft a project big this year.

backcourt players i want to target:
Brogdon
Rubio and Rondo, if no Brogdon
Satoransky
Quinn Cook
Justin Holiday
Garrett Temple

My biggest interests are who overpays Vucevic and who ends up with DLo on the max.
