Rondo is filling the leadership void that's been empty since Monty was fired. I'm sure Rondo isn't the first person to tell them this, but he commands their respect, and for once they are the 4 seed and actually have something worth fighting for.

I think it really helps that Rondo will straight fight them if they ignore his advice and they know that.
