Dont feel bad as i dont understand the justification that season ticket holders need extra tickets. All season ticket holders and half season ticket holders should get their tickets. After that the common fans should have the access. Giving people access to extra tickets is a leading cause of the resale market.

Whole rows for sale on NBA resale site for huge markups. This is bullshite and was handled poorly.

The first go at playoff tickets was promised to me as an incentive to sign up. Whether they be my seats or extra seats.

Not saying you dont deserve tickets for signing up just an equal amount to what you purchased.

I'd really like to know what is going on behind the scenes right now...but, I'm sure it's all going to result in a screwjob of the common folk fan

I am going to laugh when they pull all the tickets that were sold and then start another sale with higher ticket prices. That would be the ultimate screw job move.

EVERYONE better call them out on that, if that were to happen. Media, social media, show up in person.......everyone!

I just can’t imagine Ticketmaster allowing them to cancel 5,000+ tickets for free that may drive them to leave it alone.

A point of contention from the Pelicans could be that there are plenty of non-STHs who used the pre sale code that got "discounted" tickets. STHs get early access plus discounted tickets off the public price. And half plan/mini plan prices are also higher than STH prices.

Regardless, this is their screw up. They need to eat the lost ticket revenue.

Did they at least tell you that your tickets were safe?

It's ridiculous for them not to even have a plan yet

the plan should have been to not frick this up from the beginning. Now there is no way to make everyone happy except somehow only cancel tickets that are on resale markets

And what muddies this up, is where people don't list their specific seats (only row and section)...but, I totally agree.

Just checked Ticketmaster. My order was canceled

ETA: and they weren’t for resale obviously

Ticketmaster will get its share either way, either in the initial orders or on the subsequent sale (if sales cancelled).

As STHs we buy extra tickets for others, not for resale. I'd support a restriction on resale but I have no idea the legality of it.
