So your conclusion is CJ talking about it on a podcast with one of the most known NBA reporters isn’t going to help because this particular crew on this particular night gave him no calls?? Might be a little premature to come to that conclusion.
In fairness, it's a tougher sell to say it helped when he's shot 3 total FTs in the 2 games after.

So your take is If it becomes a talking point in the national media that Zion is not getting any calls, that it won’t help at all??

Trust me, refs aren’t watching post game pressers.

You’re right they are not. But if it becomes an issue being discussed on Sportscenter or First Take and it becomes a very discussed issue (which is the whole point) that may very well change things.

Jesus, it won’t happen overnight. It’s about getting the fact that he’s not getting officiated fairly out there. Then things may change.

Haham yeah, I've seen that more than a dozen times both in NBA and college.

Man I hope our organization doesn’t think like you. Thankfully, it appears CJ doesn’t at least.

This was a good example. I remember watching this game:

Zion looked like he wanted to say something in his PC, but he took the high road and said “OKC played tremendous defense. Only one free throw, they played tremendous defense”

Just like refs don’t listen to press conferences they likely don’t listen to podcasts. But if it becomes an issue talked about by guys like Windhorst nationally, I promise you refs will know about that. This idiocy that calling attention to it won’t help because the last two games he’s only shot 3 free throws is embarrassingly shortsighted.

This can happen without ranting and raving and going off in every press conference about it. Take the high road but have the reporters keep bringing it up, it’ll happen.

Had to pause it so I'm just now finishing up. I was ready to throw a brick through the wall with that officiating. SGA 18 free throws to Zions 1 is almost hard to imagine. Seriously needs to be a purging of NBA refs.

Loved Dyson getting crunch time minutes. Games like this go a long ways for kids his age.

He had a teed up question about it and chose not to respond. I wish he would have said something about it, even if it was vague.

Crazy, his passive nature can be frustrating sometimes. This is one of those times.

That was a really good press conference by Zion. That's the most he's opened up his entire career. He's having a lot of fun, it's evident

You can't promise any of that, you literally, not my opinion but factually have zero clue if what you're saying is true.

Can you point out to me all the examples of coaches getting fined/ejected for their star not getting calls then show me the data that proves you correct? If not, you're completely making it up as you go.

Exactly why I said he didn’t need to go nuclear about it. Just simply say he thought Zion didn’t get enough calls that’s it. But don’t completely pass on it when a reporter specifically teed it up for you. He likely will need to lose it at one point, but that would be better served to be in a high profile game, one on TBS or ESPN.

You honestly can’t be this obtuse. You think I can pull up stats for this? C’mon moron. Can’t you have a clue about anything without seeing fricking +\- numbers?? To say that a national discussion about Zion getting reffed unfairly couldn’t help is the epitome of ignorance. How many times have you seen refereeing change in a playoff series due to debate about someone getting calls or not. It happens every year. Don’t be such a moron.

Sorry sons, I’ve been on a plane. It sounds like we got anally intruded by those zebra mother frickers tonight but managed to pull out a win in spite? Did I get that right?
