If Hayes can’t get productive minutes when the team is this short handed then his roster spot needs to go to another prospect.

LOL, he has been benched and taken out of the rotation multiple times in his career. He's never going to get it, he just does not have an understanding of the game.
It makes sense, considering he didn't start playing basketball until his junior year of high school, and then got by for the next three years on his athleticism before getting drafted.

I obvious wanted the win, but we can’t expect the Pels to get more than a rare win this short handed vs playoff teams.

You can miss me with that. It's a fricking game, let them have fun. I hope we would act the same way if we were in their situation instead.

It's actually amazing how literally the next 5 picks after Hayes in the 2019 draft are all productive players. We really whiffed with that 8th pick.
