And he should have double that amount if he passes to Zion and doesn’t shoot random ISO shots after missing 3 in a row.

Y’all don’t have to keep defending him. I get it and I know he will get better. That doesn’t change the fact that he’s doing a lot of things wrong and is not playing at the caliber that he should be.

Zion is averaging 20ppg on 55% shooting for his career. Only other players to do that are Kareem and Shaq

Make completely unrealistic expectations

Be upset when player doesn't meet unrealistic expectations.

CJ has a higher assist rate than everyone on the team but we complain most about CJ never passing. That doesn't make sense.

CJ is not maximizing his potential even during bad games as a 10 year vet. I expect better decisions during bad games.

Some of his play style while struggling reminds me of a g leaguer trying to prove himself instead of a 10 year vet that is composed.

That may be harsh but it’s how I’m seeing it. It’s one thing to shoot and find your shot. It’s another thing to miss 4-5 in a row and continue to shoot or stay in your head.

He is making 33 million this year and 35 million next year. He’s our HIGHEST PAID PLAYER! Stop babying him like he’s a damn rookie. He should be one of our best players and he has not been.

I don’t give a shite what he’s leading us in when he should be doing double that.

So CJ should be hogging the ball more, taking away from TM3 and Zion? Makes a lot of sense

Thats not defending him, those are just facts. Just like he’s having his worst shooting season to date. No one thinks he’s playing to his full potential. You’re being emotional

I guess thinking our highest paid player should be playing like a top 5 paid player is unrealistic expectations. Lol. He’s getting outplayed on a nightly basis by guys on minimum contracts. You are wild.

Top 5 player in the league?

Also, your expectation is that he should be the best or at worst 2nd best passer in the NBA, a guy who has never in his career had to play that role. Should I just copy/paste my line about unrealistic expectations?

No. Top 5 paid player on this team. I actually expect him to be top 3 behind Zion and BI. We are paying him more than both of them. He isn’t even playing top 5.
