They totally outplayed the Pacers. Pacers stayed close bc they hit their 3s and we couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn from deep for 3 1/2 quarters. We were shooting 13% from 3 at one point in the 4th before hitting a couple big late 3s.

Also NAW’s basketball IQ is basically the inverse of Herb. He just does some dumb things out there.

Obviously we are missing our 2 best players, but the pacers were missing Turner. Sabonis, Brogdon, Warren, TJ McConnell.

They're 17-30. They've missed Brogdon and McConnell for about 20 games a piece. Warren has been out the entire year and played 4 games in the past 2.

Yes, they're injured as hell, however they are also a poor, underperforming team when healthy.

Also, our FT percentage is nice, but it’s a product of having Jonas instead of Adams.

Wouldn't just blame Adams. Some of it is definitely on Hernangomez and Bledsoe too. Guys like Hart getting to the line more helps

NAW made some mistakes for sure but he did have some nice passes(6 ast) and played decent defense.

I've seen worse games from him.

Worse thing about NAW is that he makes his dumbest decisions on the edge of a change in momentum in the game..

Early in the game when we were having tons of success in the half court set, we got a turnover on defense and you had the feeling that another score would have forced Indiana to call a timeout before the game got out of hand.. Then NAW comes down and jacks up a contested 3 with 20 seconds on the shot clock.

He'll do the same thing when the other team starts to go on a little run.. "Can't let this slip away, better cut the lead in half with this fadeaway 3 I never make"

If Nickeil can dish out six assists and only turn the ball over once, then we can live with his poor shooting. The team really needed his drives toward the basket tonight.

The backcourt is really starting to come around. The combinations of Graham/Alvarado and Hart/NAW just really compliment each other. None are stars or have high ceilings. But if they can stay consistent, they aren't a weakness and it allows the frontcourt to lead to wins.

We need to flip Sato now. I don't want him pulling minutes from Alvarado or NAW. Temple can spot in as the 5th guard, although I like him as the backup SF too. We still need a 3/4 guy to spell Jones and Ingram..

I guess his decision after getting a great offensive RB with 14 s left did cloud my judgement but damn that was a critical mistake.

The biggest issue with NAW is AD, as soon as AD starts complementing NAW and his game, NAW does something dumb.
