Herb close to fouling another 3 point shooter.

Free throw shooting won this game.

imagine if we could make FTs last year

every damn team is the 2017 warriors against us from 3
The weird thing is it's been like that with 3 different coaches now.

Great win. This is the type of game we almost always lose in the last 2 years. I'm happy to see the team close out the game by hitting their free throws. It's a night and day change from last year.

Tae was great tonight

Good win. Indy is missing every decent player on their team minus Levert.
Pels shooting a 3 with 14 on the shot clock late and then Naw getting the rebound and putting it back up instead of burning the 14 seconds was terrible. Also, all the fouling or near of three point shooters was absolutely fricking heinous.
Always good to win, but I refuse to categorize that as a great win lol.

he has been solid in quite a few games this year. I really want to see how he pairs with Zion if he ever plays again (but still no clue who gets benched)

12 of 13 free throws made in the last 5 minutes of the game. Games like this impress me a lot more than any blow out win. Indiana fought hard to try to steal the game and we were able to stay composed and hit our free throws when we needed every single one of them.
Besides, you act like we aren't missing our star players either.

It seems after every win, we are still 2 games back of the play in. We need a fricking run of 5-6 games

Pels have gone from 29th in FTs in 2020 to 9th this year.
ETA: might up to 7th or 8th tonight

This team really is easy to root for.

Pels are like Stormtroopers from 3

and stormtroopers off-screen from the FT stripe

It’s just hard as a fan when you know this team could easily be 7-10 games better right now with Zion healthy

I think the Pels would be much better if the 3 point line didn't exist. We have plenty of guys who can drive and score, not so hot at hitting 3 though, at best they are streaky from 3.

Obviously we are missing our 2 best players, but the pacers were missing Turner. Sabonis, Brogdon, Warren, TJ McConnell.
Good win. But I can’t ignore the stupidity.
Also, our FT percentage is nice, but it’s a product of having Jonas instead of Adams.
And Zion not playing. I’d rather have Zion playing and shooting 70% from the line than him not playing. Zion missing free throws is honestly the least of our concerns in terms of what it takes to win games when he actually plays.

The same fricking squad who stole a game in Golden State a couple of nights ago. Let's keep pretending that they are pushovers with your excuses.
