His defense tonight was the biggest issue to me. This motherfricker was lost on damn near every possession and on Harris' last bank shot he had 2 opportunities to get the steal

It's unfortunate that the game that the bench shows up in, we come up short.

I hate that Herb fouled out and couldn't be there for the end.

Confused on why all the blame is put on NAW

NAW's stand out more because when he's bad he's boneheaded bad. He also has the tools to be so much better than he is if he just had better BBIQ. To me that's the most frustrating thing is if he had a better feel for the game he'd be the player they need him to be.

It's not something you can really fix either. He is what he is

The good news is that his offense is coming alive. There's evidence that he's out of his funk.

Biggest take away tonight for me is Willie gets it . He knows the buttons to push and guys seemingly respect him and listen .

They responded tonight and didn’t quit down 21 .

To be fair, do you remember the game against the celtics last year? Under SVG we came back from like 26 and it was a very inspiring and fun game.

I guess this means sometimes the players should just get more credit than the coach

that game also had BI and Zion playing easier to do that with your two best players and leaders on the floor

Yep, and this is exactly why I was in this thread after last game bashing him after a good on paper performance.

He just doesn’t get it out there. And it’s confusing, because NAW is legitimately a reasonably smart and introspective guy.

But he consistently does the absolute dumbest shite at the worst times during the course of a basketball game.

Obviously he’s going to be in less of those positions offensively if Z and BI are out there, but I still don’t trust him to do the right thing defensively no matter who is out on the court.

We say low BBIQ, but I think "has bad habits" might be a better characterization. I think when Zion and Ingram are back NAW is the one that needs to go to the bench. When he's playing well let him run. When he's not, reel him in and cut his minutes.

I think Graham and Herb have played well enough to make that an easy decision.

If NAW goes to the bench, Hart starts. Herb would play the same role he did tonight coming off the bench.

1st game I haven't got to watch this year. Interesting stat line. Wasn't expecting Temple to ever go off.

Interesting decision when BI and then Zion come back. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Graham and Herb starting.
