They don’t even try on offense. I’ve always wondered if that’s done on purpose or not. You see it in the nba and not in college. Seems teams would rather get back on d than try to crash the boards on offense

I mean, why even try on defense? If you don’t try they get a basket and if you do try then they get a basket plus a free throw

Nowadays...nearly all teams main concern is to stop the transition game. Hence, "get back"...don't crash the offensive boards.
