People need to realize that herb is a bad contract now. He’s been hurt and shooting like shite for two straight years while no longer being an elite defender. And he turns 28 before next year
He has a 3 year 66 million dollar contract that doesn’t even START until 27-28. No team is touching that shite with a 10 foot pole

Herb is so vastly overrated on this forum, it’s crazy. I’m sure injuries played a part in it, but he has regressed defensively and somehow gotten even worse offensively.

People, we are living through, the worst trade in the NBA since the old New Orleans Jazz traded away the draft rights for Magic Johnson for Gail Goodrich.

I'm gonna guess the Pels couldn't get as much as they wanted at the deadline...and expect a much better offer...come draft night.

The trade was bad, but it’s not even the worst in 2025. The Luka trade was.

Yep. Look he showed a ton of flashes on offense this season but the defense is like the worst in the entire league. Center is the most important defense position in basketball and Queen is an unathletic 6’9 center. Like wha do you even do with that? Because you sure as shite can’t ever start that player.
You basically have to play Queen as a 6th man Point Center of the bench to get any value out of him. You just pray to god you can out score the other team while he’s on the court

At least in the Luka trade, it was Hall of Famer for Hall of Famer. But Gail Goodrich for Magic Johnson?

Queen has incredible talent. But he needs a ton of work, along with the right system and coach. I believe he can be a perennial all-star level 20+/10+/5+ type of player. But he could also flame out quick.
This offseason he needs to keep losing fat and add strength. Work with a movement specialist to get faster. He's only 21 and can drastically improve his biomechanics. He needs to play PF full-time next year, and we need to find the best fit at Center next to him. I really like Missi, and think the pair of them can work in the right system. But it takes the right system and coach to make that right.

Zion is not a PF or a big in this league. He is a wing that refuses to shoot. Having him and Jones, plus any Center that can't shoot just doesn't work. We need wings/guards that can shoot around Queen (and possibly Missi).

I literally would have cut Zion before this season. You can fact check my posts on this. I would have got rid of him many years ago. So if they can get something for him, then all praise to them. But I am beyond ready to move past that chapter of our franchise history..

That game earned us an entire season of Larry Nance getting his shite pushed in at the end of games instead of Jonas who was very consistent in his role..
