If we go 7-4 remainder of month that’d be damn impressive. we’d be 10 games over .500 and probably be sitting around the #4 seed at the end of a rough stretch

don't think 7-4 is unreasonable all things considered, we've played fairly well even against top end teams since the IST

4-1 now

Absolutely murdered SAC and GSW on the road so far this week. 7 straight road wins headed to Denver to try and tie a franchise record with 8 consecutive road wins. Keep murderin murder birds

These next 3 will tell us how good we really are. If you can go 2-1 then we might just be a top 4 seed

With a B2B in there 2-1 would be very impressive. Playing like this could be a 50 win team if they do that.

The West is so unforgiving. You have 4 of the top 6 teams winning at a 70% rate right now in their last 10 games. There is no room for error.

I mean their human and yes west is competitive but we have killer January schedule and nothing is won in January. Lets keep some perspective, 2-1 would be great.

Definitely will need to capitalize on that 4 game home stretch against CHA, PHX, UTAH and OKC

Nailed it. 3-1 would be huge here.

I waited for the game as to not jynx this, but so far correct on my predictions. too bad I was wrong about the dallas one, that would have been nice.

quote:

Away:
@GSW - if no draymond and zion is back, chalk this a W
@Denver - this is a loss, middle of a road trip & in denver is insanely harder
@Dallas x2 - as erratic as it can be, call this a split
2-2 coming back for our home stand

We went 2-2

quote:

Home
vs Charlotte - W easily the way we're streaking
vs Phoenix - L, they'll be rested and something about booker & durant just blow us out
vs Utah - W, hard fought IMHO

2-1 so far with OKC next up.

Hopefully I'm right, because 7-4 would be nice.

Was gonna bump this thread soon too. feel like worst case now we’ll finish this month 27-21 which was my original prediction and said I’d be happy with that as long as we stay healthy.

Just need 1 of next 4 and anything on top of that would be lagniappe considering who we play.

We usually play OKC tough. Would love to steal that one at home then a 1-2 road trip to finish out January wouldn’t look too bad.

no kidding. 3 way tie for 1st now and clippers have been red hot too and closing ground at top.

Just our luck we’ll need to keep pace for 50 wins just to avoid the play-in at this rate!

I’ll be happy with a 7-7 record rest of month if they’re healthy going into next month.

Pels sitting at 20-14 now and February looks a good bit easier so we’ll have a shot to climb into the top 4 if we survive til then. 27-21 at the end of Jan. 2023 would have been 4th seed in west btw.

they are who we thought they were! Was ugly at the end of the month but came out the other end where they should’ve. 8-7 slightly above .500 against the toughest January schedule in the league.

Unlucky for us the top 4 are all on pace for 55+ wins but Pels have the easiest schedule remaining of all Western conference teams according to tankathon and in February we ride to make up ground! Top 4 has some breathing room now but we’re only one game out of 5th seed. Avoiding the play-in is a fair expectation.

barring injuries, I think we can see how things play out a bit better now. Don't think Pels can crack top 4 in the west. That will be some order of Minny, OKC, Clips and Denver. 5th spot looks increasingly to be the Suns, though I'd give them a chance to crack top 4 by end of season.

I think that leaves the Pels, Mavs and Kings fighting for the last spot to avoid the play in. I think our chances are pretty good if we stay healthy...

Agreed Champ, but you never know how injuries or trades might impact things. Clippers and Suns are relying on stars who have not been able to play full seasons in recent years. Just hope the Pels keep stacking wins and see what happens.
