Giannis is relentless on offense

Year 2 Zion was that.

Year 5 Zion is not even close to that.

It's alarming that the coaching staff failed to gameplan with that being the chief objective.

Is it? This is a very common thing for Willie and his coaches.

This team is a major disappointment. Will never beat a good team or win a game that matters.

Our defense doesn't work against the really good teams in the league. Never really has.

Zion struggles against length and good defensive teams . Point Z tonight would mean Gianni’s or Lopez guarding him and everyone else by standing in the middle of the lane .

Point Zion is not sustainable until Z can score from somewhere outside of 3 feet consistently.

It helps

But the work ethic is way more important than the extra 5 inches... TWSS?

Imagine if year 2 Zion worked tirelessly to get better over the last 3 years. He's be somewhere near that Giannis level on offense imo.

Yeah but we’ve seen him get to the rim when he wants. Its his lack of constant aggression and alpha mentality that bother me.

Our generational, face of the franchise has been outscored by Bobby Portis.

People still think this is all coaching. Like 20% of the reason is coaching. 80% of the reason we aren’t that good is that BI and Zion aren’t real stars

To tell the truth for all that Borrego talk, offensive minded and whatnot, Zion hhaving the ball and just walking to the paint and then performing acrobatics or getting a charge is not an offense.

So we shoot 40+ wide open 3s and Zion racks up assists.

We've attempted 19 3s tonight, and Zion had 2 assists.

Don't get me wrong, we lost mainly due to defense. But it still doesn't make sense that we had literally the best offensive game in franchise history due to a change in scheme then didn't play through that scheme the very next game.

What else is Zion gonna do? That’s literally his entire game

Yet we fired him because BI didnt like SVG telling him to turn the music down while practicing lol.

Imagine being a mediocre player having as much pull as BI.

We abandoned Borrego ball early in the season.

I will always shite on Zion's work ethic, but the thing about Giannis being 7 ft means he can be the "big" on the floor and guard the other team's big.

Zion can't guard 5's which is why we have to have Jonas or Larry on the floor with him at all times and that hurts spacing.

Because the coaches got convinced BI had some advantage so we saw BI middie to BI middie lol

Makes no fricking sense and is a black eye for Willie

What's crazy is that WE should be what Milwaukee is as well... Player for player we damn near mirror them but for Zion versus Giannis demeanor and attitude.

You're not wrong but that's not a Zion problem imo

The FO has had 5 years to get a defensive minded, vertical spacing type center.
