Willie about Hawk: "He's making my job really hard. And that's a problem that you want to have."

Shouldn't be hard to play him over Naji.

Minutes have to be earned or feelings get hurt which is bad for morale, especially when you choose a rookie over a vet. Hopefully Willie saying that means Hawkins earned some minutes tonight.

that's .... not a good quote. Hawk has made your job incredibly easy. Bench naji and play hawkins

Yeah, people don't think about the job of managing the locker room. The head coach's job doesn't just involve what happens in between the four lines of the court.

Great W!!!

Main takeaways for me:

- Val is a monster. There are matchups where he should legit be who we play through late in games even when everyone is healthy

- Hawkins - I'm taking my boys to the game in Dallas on Monday. If Hawk picks up a DNP, I might go viral for all the wrong reasons

- Notice how down the stretch we deliberately gave the call to Jonas darn near every single possession? Why for the love of God do we not do that with Zion every game, every time down the stretch...

This is truthfully the best time to trade Naji. We have Dyson to be that defensive stopper that’s progressing offensively and Hawk needs minutes. Naji wants playing time and truthfully it should be somewhere else at the trade deadline. And I say this as a big fan of his. He’s just the odd man out here that gets real minutes.

It's time to trade Naji anyway. He's going to get paid this summer and we don't have the money. Seriously, we can't afford him next season. I am a fan of Naji, but trading him is the obvious thing to do.

EDIT: and benching Naji removes his trade value.

Winning cures all. If hawkins helps us win, then there wont be complaints

Don’t think Naji and Hawkins minutes are interchangeable

You know willie is in love with the fact that Naji can guard 2-4 on a good night. He just has more beef than herb, Dyson, Hawkins, and Trey, you almost need him as a hired gun vs stronger wings

Anybody in that Locker room don’t want hawk to play in front of naji can roll out with naji

I think Hawkins should play

Naji is shooting 38% from 3 on 2.5 attempts a game

I know that’s not what Hawkins gives you, and I’m not saying it is, but I am saying y’all acting like it should be some easy decision to fully remove Naji from the rotation is a bit crazy

With the depth of our team, I think its an easy decision personally. Maybe on another team it wouldn’t be.

I guess think of it this way who would you give Naji minutes over? Meaning who’s minutes would you reduce or take away to play Naji?

I think Jose and Naji should probably rotate depending on matchup

If Dyson keeps playing how he is, as much as I love Jose the backup PG spot is going to be locked up
