Oh yeah it’s so hard to believe that Alvin Gentry got out coached. Alvin “my teams play well when it doesn’t matter” Gentry.

Our “playoff push” will continually have us within 2-3 games and then the team will blow it bc that’s what Alvin does
Yeah the team really sucked down the stretch in 17-18 season huh?

Nah, he just made the wrong play. He had some good assists tonight. Just a tough night, and we played hard. If we cut down on unforced turnovers, we'll be be great.

Lebron went god mode. Defense made no adjustments. Shots stopped falling. Gave up too many offensive rebounds.

You aren't going to win many games against the #1 with all that.

Bring on the Cavs.

Alvin Gentry has been dining out on that season and his one good suns team for some 15 odd seasons now. 15 seasons and three playoff appearances.

12 of 15 seasons his teams have been in the bottom 40% of the league. His 17-18 season was the exception that proves the rule

No... Things went downhill when the Pels had a 96-93 lead and Jrue missed a wide open three point attempt where he had 5 seconds to set his feet and step into the shot. Pels really could've extended the lead there and taken the momentum for the final 8 minutes but had 3 terrible possessions after that while LeBron hit a wide open 3 to tie it and then the Lakers took the lead back for good at 98-96.

Or you need to get better at jokes? Or at least better at delivering them?

Favors does not need to be retained this offseason. He just looks like he doesn’t want to be on the court. Doesn’t really help much on either side of the ball. Was surprised Hayes didn’t get any playing time.

Was thinking the same thing. Dwight Howard had to beg his way on that team and he out played Favors and he’s on a non guaranteed contract. And how much y’all want to give Favors this offseason? I’d take him back on a really favorable deal but if not he can walk and find a replacement.

Ah the let’s pile on Derrick Favors because we lost routine. Favors was fine. He was one of two starters that came out on the good side of the plus minus. Favors isn’t a guy that we are going to sign for 5 years at like 25 million a year, but I’m good with giving him a pretty healthy sized contract.

Favors is big piece of wins for this Pelicans team.

We lose and it is the same narrative: Jrue sucks, Zo is dirt, Favors is the worst big in basketball.

Come on, guys. We have a good team. We are steadily getting better.

Go Pels!
