What is it going to take to win?

-Jrue keeping the foot on the gas and looking to score. He should be able to feast against Gordon/Paul/Harden.

-AD/Boogie puts Capela in foul trouble early

-Make the role players outside of Paul and Harden beat you.

-defend the 3. Duh.

Rox are stupid good this year. It's saying something when you look better than the Warriors so far this season. That being said:

Pels 128
Rox 127

AD sinks the game winner. MSB turns into a shitpost extravaganza.

I heard something on the latest Lowe Post with Kevin Arnovitz that really pissed me off. He talked about how awesome Gordon is playing now and how he had a reputation as bad on defense but now he's wondering if it wasn't just being on a bad team because he's so strong now that players can't back him down. His previous reputation was well earned. He was terrible on defense and he and Ryno were easily weak links. I think the answer to Gordon and Ryno finding the fountain of youth has something to do with PEDs. Morey probably ran analytics on the testing to know how much drugs he could get away with pumping into the players.

Yeah his lack of give a frick was very apparent here.

Yeah ryno and especially Gordon look completely different physically. I wouldn't necessarily claim PED use but at the end of the day it's on the player to get into shape.

be prepared for a bunch of loud Rocketard fans. They usually
show up

Jeez, I must still have a lot of re-habbing to do. When I posted I had it in my head that it was a home game. Damn.

The way we defend the perimeter, it won’t be close. Unfortunate truth. Look at the Brightside, CP Flop will choke in the playoffs.

Pelicans 110
Rockets 131

CP3 still won't get past the 2nd round round. Doubt i even take the time to watch how terrible we will look tonite. I'd rather play a nerf war with my kids instead.

I'm not sure that AD plays. It would be smart to sit him given that he still seems to grab his groin on the court occasionally (lucky!).

It would take an insane babe/game thread of the olden times to pull this one out. The Rockets/Mavs threads were always the best ones too. Very babe-alicious. Too bad the fascist TD regime put an end up them.

I pulled my groin back in my HS Football days badly enough that I was out for a few weeks. When it finally got loose enough to play I certainly wasn't 100% so I don't think it still bothering him is necessarily something to worry about. I've got no problem with him sitting, but it may just be something he has to play through. I know my groin didn't actually start getting better until I used it. Walking the bleachers hurt like hell but it's what eventually got me right.

Usually once, but it depends. Today is feeling like 2 tug kind of day.

You should start a thread about this.

Getting a win over #1 would erase a lot of that bitter flavor from the last week or two.

Side question, I haven’t seen much NBA this year is Houston convincingly better than golden state right now? I thought they had mad potential especially offensively in their playoff series with the spurs last season and that was before adding CP3. But watching that series made me believe the rockets could be the best team out there if they had a legit point guard and they acquired the best in the game

Hell no. GS would probably be favored to win in 6, but the Rockets have played better than the Warriors have so far. #2 off and #5 def. Blowing teams out. Set an NBA record for consecutive wins by 15+ points before the Portland game over the weekend.

rockets haven't really played a quality opponent like they will tonight vs Pelicans.

Give me the two dominant bigs on the red hot New Orleans team over hornicans cast offs any day of the week

Pelicans 117
rockets 106
