What on earth makes you think Charlotte is letting go of Kon?

Let's see...Pelicans don't want overpaid Zion...Hawks don't want overpaid Trae...Grizzlies don't want overpaid Morant...and Hornets don't want overpaid Ball...so...sounds like a perfect situation for all 4 teams to get rid of their own trash and pickup someone else's trash.

A lot of good these "good" contracts are doing for our w/l record

Most of the team has been injured and we had Willie as the coach.

Trey and Herb are the type of guys that we need to win games. They are not paid to be the superstars.

Trey, Herb, Queen, and Fears are the type of payers you have as a foundation to a team. Use Zion to go get someone else if needed.

Technically speaking Lamelo has played 19 more games than Zion and he's been in the league for 1 fewer season.

The Pelicans should only be focused on trading for draft picks… not players. The players only matter for salary matching. If Dumars is focused on a player being the main return piece in a trade, he’s going to throw away the one play the Pelicans have as a franchise, which is to collect assets.

I love DQ, too

Doesn’t change the fact that we overpaid and we have an incompetent GM running the show

Yeah, people are daydreaming. Charlotte isn’t trading Kon.

Correct. Didn’t watch Cam Boozer play?’!?

Bc there’s who was in play with the 2 picks he traded..

Might be gross, but it's my attempt at being realistic given the rumors/noise.

Trey is worth more than Kuminga, but not by a ton and Lamelo is worth more than Zion

This ain't my fault. If this was my team, we'd have Hali, Maxey and Sengun as a big 3, plus a stacked bench. This is Griff 's fault. Dumars is backed into a corner after 6 years of mistakes by Griff.

Why is Lamelo worth more than Zion? Don’t agree with that.

1) He's played 19 more games than Zion in 1 less season.

2) he's more marketable

3) his game fits the modern NBA better/he has a more varied skill set than Zion

4) Knucklehead, but no real off the court issues since whatever happened in China when he was a child

5) you don't constantly have to worry about if he's fat or conditioned

6) his passing is actually a really good fit for Missi and Karlo lob game

7) Fears, Queen, Lamelo are all three players that can pass at an elite level for their positions (assuming Fears plays SG)

8) If we actually keep Trey Murphy, Lamelo is a nice fit with him as well.

19 more games? You listed a whole lot of non sense. Zion is a better player than Lamelo.

4) the 'China incident' was actually brother LiAngelo. Stole from some store and got arrested.

LaMelo would be fun. Basically, many players would be more fun than the failed Z experience.
