SIAP. Searched. Saw this on vacation last week.

At No. 7, the Pelicans. They haven’t gotten off to an especially strong start this year and have little shot of title contention this spring. But Davis has as bright a future as anyone in the league and the team’s average age (weighted by wins added) is just 23.6. They project to be the second- or third-best team in the league by the end of the five-year window, according to the model.

Not bad at all, IMO. Dat age, tho.

That's probably about right. Only what 12 teams have ever even won a title? And in the west? That's stacked for the foreseeable future. I pray durant goes to Washington.

Too many variables to make any meaningful prediction.

All it takes is for us to hit on something somewhere, ie Darren collison mt5 draft, and we can be champion sooner than 19'

Remember after our magical season when we signed Posey as the "final piece" and the legendary Bill Simmons predicted us to make the NBA Finals v's LeBron's Cavs?

That was arguably the high point of our team since relocation from Charlotte.

Not sure where you're getting that number from, but it's not a 25% chance of winning, it's .25 titles in the next 5 years.

I'd honestly say it's 0% as long as Monty is around. Get a decent coach and it's, I don't know, 2-4% ish, I'd guess.

Agree - Monty means NO chance at all. Dell is no top notch GM either. Plenty of average, at best, moves during his tenure.
