The media had absolutely nothing to do with a ref possibly being exposed to this. Sucks but this is a legit reason to cancel this game in particular.

Can I say how stupid it is though to have all those people go out and GATHER, expose themselves to many others and then cancel the game? Seems like they could have canceled before that happened.

That was pretty bad to do when everyone was already at the stadium. Just play with 2 officials if there was no replacement.

Yea he did. I guess he thinks that everybody in the arena lives right across the street and are season ticket holders who go to most of the games. How can you not understand why someone would be mad.

the problem is that if referee Courtney Kirkland is considered a contamination risk... and he's been chilling in the officials locker room with the other 2 refs... then those other 2 referees have to be considered contamination risks too
