Oh the guy that shot 35% from the field at Duke on a team with RJ and Zion? No thanks.

If cam reddish is garbage jaxson Hayes is worse. He reminds me of Nerlens Noel which isn't anything special

Would have loved to get 8/10 from them instead of 17. But my guess is if we wanted them to take Solo we had to compromise.

Hayes shot better from the line 4 years after really starting to play basketball than Nerlens ever has. His shooting form looks pretty good as well. He'll probably be able to hit a few midrange shots early on to add to his athleticism.

Boga at 17 and the French forward at 8 would have been ideal imo but I guess they wanted to make sure they got their C early. Boga could have ended up being a back end lotto guy so no guarantee he would’ve been there

Reddish needs a lot of development. And he wouldn't get that with BI here

Even that's better.. I like NAW a lot and I'm not disappointed by that pick just don't think Hayes is the type of center we need.

Reddish is the type of guy that Dell would have taken. If you watch any Duke basketball, you would see that he is Julius Wright 2.0. He passes the eye test, and on paper he should be a good player, but he just sucks on the court.

Luckily, we invested heavily in analytics, which is why we drafted a guy like Hayes!

Ingram has one year left on his deal and what if he doesn't keep progressing next year are you going to pay him that big contract either way or if something worse happens and his clotting issue comes back then you have no back up plan when you could of gotten reddish who has tremendous upside and more than likely develops a lot fast than Hayes who is a three to four year project

I would've preferred Reddish over Hayes, but I know I'm in the minority. Should've stayed at 4.

Dude in 3 years we will have the most athletic front court in the league.
My dreams last night were basically 6 hours of alley oops

I watched a ton of Duke this year and besides the measurables what impressed everyone about Reddish at 8? He played pretty good defense and I keep hearing he is a great shooter but I must have missed that all season because he had space constantly and could not hit open shots.

Not trying to bash anybody’s opinion because who knows with these kids but just asking what you guys see outside of height, wingspan etc...

Not sure Reddish will be that bad. At worst, he is still a very good defender. I am cautiously optimistic about Hayes. He has narrow shoulders, so I wonder how much weight/muscle he can put on. He is very raw, even defensively. He chases every block which leads to a lot of fouls. He will take some work, but hopefully it pays off.
