The Trail Blazers have scheduled a noon press conference on Tuesday to announce their new head coach. The team is not saying who the coach is but all indications are that it will be Chauncey Billups.
I hope they don't announce the coach until the press conference. And just be like

Miami has no picks to send, the only future picks they can send is 25 and 27, other than that they have to fill in with players.
GS has Wiseman and Wiggins (negative contract), 2 lottery picks this year and their future picks, so that's a slight possibility.

If Dame does force a trade I don't think he ends up with the Pels, but I could see the Pels being facilitators depending on where he wants to go.

Sources tell myself & @AdamNBorai: There is a growing rift between Portland Trail Blazers ownership, Damian Lillard, & the front office. Dame has been in touch with players on other teams this off-season & monitoring Portland's future before committing to anything. More to come.

Whom does Dame prefer as our coach: Lee or Vaughn?

If you could workout a trade for Dame without including BI, Dame would come running here. Dame knows he's a different breed and he knows adding him to Zion and BI would make this team a contender. Plus it would be his team and would get all the credit he wouldn't be running to someone else team.

Can't wait for the "Vanterpool to interview with Pelicans" reports tomorrow.

He doesn't get to choose. He's worth too much for Portland to let him decide what he's going to do.
But beyond that, he and Zion are a perfect pair, as no team in the league would have better spacing. And bringing him here would mean that we'd likely trade for someone else who could contribute, or maybe Dame talks a friend into coming here for the MLE to chase a ring. We would absolutely be contenders with him, because there's just no way whatsoever to defend him and Zion at the same time.

Especially if we are able to keep Hayes. Even if we move BI, Hayes, Zion, and dame could be very fricking interesting.
I would think that keeping BI means we are moving Hayes, Naw, and a wealth of picks. Moving BI means we are keeping Naw and Hayes and still moving a wealth of picks.
If Portland is blowing it up, do they want BI and picks or do they want the potential of NAW and Hayes with those picks?

Whatever is better for them. I think you have to resign zo if you trade BI though. Show zion you want to win and keep the players he like playing with at the same time.

IF Dame does ask out, I'd have to think we would be the odds on favorite to land him.

I’d love to believe you … but what would make us favourites? Genuine question
Every team will be bidding…

Go get Dame
I can confirm that OG Pierre flapped out from MSY with King Cake baby to Portland at 4:20 today. Griff was told to stay home.

Every team will be bidding, but no team besides OKC can beat the package Pels can put together.
Imagine if Griff goes and throws Ingram, Kira, Bled and 4 1sts with 3 swaps, for Dame and Covington, who's beating it? Nobody that's who.

Nobody can beat a Pels offer, I think we can all agree on that. Unfortunately that's not all that counts here. Portland might not want to trade in conference. Dame may not want to play here seeing how Zion has already made his displeasure known. Lot of pieces involved.

If this is happening it sounds like it's because Dame and the owner that wants to hire the first woman coach are not on the same page. Portland will not care where Dame wants to go and with 4 years on his deal teams like the Pels probably won't be scared if he they aren't on his short list. Make him give you a year trial and if it doesn't work flip him for something similar to what you gave up.
