I'm not worried about a guy who had an historic shooting season and has great mechanics having an early career slump. Not when there has been plenty to be pretty impressed about elsewhere.

I am actually a little encouraged
My biggest worry about Hield was that when he wasn't scoring, he wouldn't be able to effect the game. But I have seen an effort to hit the glass and create for others in both games.
So, if and when the scoring comes, I actually think he could become more multi-dimensional than I anticipated.
Off ball defense is beyond horrible, but it looks like its because he is trying to do too much on that end. It's not like Tyreke where it is bad because he is falling asleep. He is actually over helping
So, TL;DR - Encouraged

I swear people overreact. It's Summer League. Some of the best shooters ever had slumps. It happens. You sleep if you think Buddy just lost his shot. Just know when he finds it and they start falling it's game over. Relax.
