i agree, but that kind of optimistic outlook is frowned upon around here

You know it, win now right Gtothemoney? No worries about development and health, just win.

Oh yeah, I just thought it was actually 18 hours but they then coasted for 6 and called it a day.

Good grief. Are ya'll delusional? Hes improving? He is shooting 28 percent, 18 percent from 3, and 39 percent from the line for the month. How exactly do you gather he is improving?

As soon as I am able to make a serious post in response to someone with your handle, I'll let you know.

2nd straight game with AD in foul trouble.

They say it forces him out of the game as if he has to come out with 4 fouls. He's not even gonna play the 4th anyway.

I just told you how. His defense is significantly better, he is getting to the basket more, and in turn learning how to draw fouls.
No doubt, he needs to improve on his FT, learn to use his left hand, and finish consistently. But to say he isn't improving is being disingenuous. He may never develop, but his game is better today than it was at the start if the season and what the frick do we have to really lose?
Even if we did make it to the post season, what do you think would happen? This team needs a lottery pick, it needs another legit starter, it needs bench. Not playing rivers gives you none of that.

he played well (by his standards) against the Grizz and Lakers. he's looking a bit more competent on defense.

I just don't think this is true, and trust me I gave him a fair chance. I defended him until last month when his play took a step back. If he was getting to the basket more or getting better, his stats would reflect that in some way. By month, he's shot 34-37-28 and 39-36-16 for 3. That's major regression, not some statistical anomoly.

Is his defense better today than it was previously?
Is he taking more FT today than he was in the beginning of the season?
I am not saying he is converting yet, only getting to the basket more/line more, and suing better D.
