If he can be consistent it would be amazing. I rather have Lonzo/Lewis over NAW/Lewis, Bledsoe/Lewis, but that’s just my opinion.

2nd half Lonzo just 90% of the time would be amazing. Hell, 80%

Washington is going to have to give us their 1st pick(Cade Cunningham) and Beal for Clutch Lonzo.

I agree this is what u expect from the former 2nd pick in the draft. He’s still young and i wouldn’t mind a 4/80 type deal. I’ll probably change my mind tomorrow though lol.

I wouldn't get near that offer without him showing what he showed tonight more consistently. I still never know if we're going to get bubble Lonzo or this one. Someone in another thread said that there is a correlation between Lonzo playing well and the team playing well and that is true and is shown in our record. He played great tonight though and we don't win without him.

Really, we have between now and deadline day to decide

Odds are he's not traded now

And that should also speak to why if he can’t be consistent we need to go another direction.

That third and fourth option for our team is vital and we simply can’t have that person be a guy that is going to play us out of games ten times in a row and then decide to play well the next ten.

His defense is getting to be Jrue levels of great, but we need more than that for it to work long term with Zion/BI imo

With his recent hot streak Lonzo is up to 35.3% from 3 on the season.

He was so on tonight that he made a step back three lol. Basically if he isn’t traded then we probably resigning him. Bled would be the one to trade next year when he has one year left. I’d like to see Lewis paired with Ball.

He's inching closer to 15ppg/5asts/5rbs on solid percentage.

He's at 13.1/4/4 42%FG/35% 3FG. His stats has been on a monsterous climb. He was under 40% from the field and 28% shooting from deep not too long ago.

If he keeps this up, the Pelicans will pay him a large salary to keep him. Keep in mind that he's only 23.

Nickeil is the Lakers version of Lonzo. Convince me otherwise.

I begrudgingly agree

I’ve said it for quite some time, he’s not a point guard, but he can be a good SG in the right offense. But I come back to his consistency always. I’m not ok with him going 2-8 for 8 games from 3, then going 6-10 for two. That’s 38% over 10 games and I’m not good with that kind of 38%.

I mean it’s the same for both he and Lonzo, and that is the problem long-term.

Neither are truly point guards and neither are reliable enough as shooters/scorers.

I just want to see his hard work shows on the court. Old article if anyone wants to read it, but he loves the game of basketball and wants to improve.

quote:

The duo has a practice routine in which they shoot set shots from seven different spots on the court. They have to make 10 shots from each spot before moving on to the next junction. If they miss two in a row, the shot count starts over.

After that, they work on different scenarios -- getting to the corner, dribble handoffs, etc. -- while observing the same count. "Fred has been a big confidence builder every single day just coming in here for both me and Lonzo," Ingram said. "Just coming in and trying to find a proper way to shoot the basketball in a way that's comfortable for us. He's done a good job of building our confidence every single day that we come in here."

After practice, Ball gets in more work with Vinson getting extra shots up before finishing with the first part of the pre-practice routine and then adding free throws. In total, Ball is getting at least 250-300 makes per day with Vinson before and after practice as he continues to shift his shot.

Following games, once he and Vinson are done with the post-practice shooting routine, they sit in Vinson's office and go over every shot Ball takes. Sometimes they'll throw in spots where he should have shot instead of passing the ball on.
