Jrue is a much better scorer than Ball could ever dream of being.

I'm sorry, I am not EVER taking a Guard that shoots worse from the line than Shaq ever did in his entire career.

That is such a fatal flaw it is irredeemable.

Lmao are you really comparing Jrue to Lonzo. Jrue isn’t a curry by any means but he can at least score. He has multiple ways of scoring in his offensive arsenal. Lonzo’s shot is broken and he shows no signs of changing it

Dudley retweeted Crewz the other day and Spencer Didwiddie gave him shite. Did y’all catch that? Lol

I wonder if Crewz invited Dudley to be a part of the elite board.

I hope Griff is at least telling the lakers to try and trade for the 2nd pick.

Dudley is paying too much attention to the Pels for that not to be true. He probably sees a good post career opportunity with all of the familiar faces in charge.

I agree, and I wouldn't say otherwise. You just said that Ball wasn't a good shooter and he shot (though barely) better than Jrue from 3 last year.

His free throw percentage is shite, but I'm not even sure it's accurate as his free throw rate is super low (another issue). Look he's far from a finished product, but he's also not the premier piece in the trade. You're still getting Ingram and the 4th pick.

I said before, I don't think Ball is going to be a superstar, but I think he can be a solid contributor and I think he fits well in a fast paced offense and with Zion.

Have him play for the year showing the kids the right way then kick him upstairs

Seems too obvious

Except that his 3 pt percentage increased 3 percentage points from year 1 to year 2.

I compared their 3 point shooting from last year. Obviously Jrue is a better scorer than Lonzo. No one would argue otherwise.

I feel like the goal posts are being moved

I thought the same thing when I saw him comment on the potential AD trade earlier on Twitter. I could see him possibly coming here for a year, then moving into a lower level front office position in the coming years. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders.

.24% increase, that’s fine, still awful. His free throw percentage also went down by almost 4 percentage points and ended the seasonshooting 40% from the line. If his only offense is driving in the paint, he better make some damn free throws. I’m not a fan at all. I’d take the a 6th pick over him.

He also got worse from the corner

I don't think he's complete garbage and has legitimately good skill in Passing/Defense/Transition but his flaws are SO glaring and exploitable

Lavar also is a factor I don't really want around Pels after recent drama

To me those flaws completely negate the positives in his game. I just don’t see him being the starting PG for a legit playoff team.

Small sample size, with only having shot 48 free throws in year 2. Though, that is also a problem.

Look, I'm not saying that he's without flaws, but I'm saying that there is a bias against him for a couple reasons that don't necessarily have to do with his on court performance. Those being his idiot dad, and him playing on the Lakers.

Agreed. Give me brogdon or Lonzo closing, it's brogdon.

Lonzo is a very good facilitator and plus defender, but he severely limits you offensively.

You know in the movies when someone is broken down in the middle of nowhere and they ask the mechanic how much it will be and the mechanic takes all of their money? I don't think it's about "Have you met Griffin's price", it's "If I just sit here in silence how much more will you offer before I say yes?"
