Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert isn’t traveling with team to LA and won’t play vs. the Lakers on Tuesday in the Play-In tournament, sources tell ESPN.
Gobert will serve a one-game suspension and is expected to return if the Wolves lose to the Lakers and play another play-in game, or advance into the Western Conference playoffs, sources said.

Which means he'll probably be back for the Pels. Not sure if that's good or bad. Him coming back if there's hard feelings could be a distrction.
Regardless, them not having McDaniels is a bigger plus imo.

I think it's a plus. Gobert playing means Willie will play JV more and won't try to play hobbled Larry for 40 minutes.

Nance is like 20 percent of his normal self. Not sure if he's really a better option than Jax at this point.

I hope the training staff rules Nance out for the play-in game(s). He desperately needs rest/rehab.

This is good. Jonas was beating Gobert like a rented mule because his mid range shot was falling and Gobert refused to come out of his spot under the basket to defend it. Losing McDaniels is way more impactful for them as he is their Herb Jones. When they went small with KAT at 5 was when they changed the game on us. Herb was doing his best defending KAT but he’s just too small to play the 5 in any scenario.

Pathetic Pels couldn't beat this team.
