Zion OFFICIALLY becoming a Pelican

or what's going to happen when the Lakers (meaning the Pels) are on the clock at #4

so much is possible with that #4 pick

I’d honestly rather us just take Garland. Then we can flip either him for whoever gives us the most or flip Lonzo.

Already know Zion will be a Pelican so I'm looking forward to what will happen with the 4th pick.

Looking forward to them taking Garland (the 3rd best prospect in the draft)

Basically.

And still trying to work through the PTSD of the Demps era and my rumor mill nervousness that has me expecting Griffin selling the pick for some veteran outside our time schedule.

Looking forward to convincing myself our 2nd round picks can make an all star team in 4 years and then we cut them and they make the all star team as a spur or pistons or some shite

I’ve already had time to accept we are getting Zion, so the game of “trade the pick” becomes the focus.

I know Zion is going to be a pelican. I'm ready, but that's not what I'm most looking forward to. I'm looking forward to the fate of that #4 pick. That's the real mystery.

This. Zion and Garland would be like the AD and Lillard package we all were hoping for seven years ago. Peli-sons, Peli-daughters... I don't want to trade down and end up with Austin Rivers 2.0 around the 10th plus pick!

Looking forward to the Knicks taking Garland while we get a steal at #4 with Barrett.

The trade of the #4 pick. Garland is being way overvalued on this board.

^ Says the guy who think Reddish is the second best player in the draft.

Re: Barret... At that point I would entertain trades because I get the feeling what the Pels would be offered to a team looking to snag Barret would balance out dropping down two to four slots.

Looking forward to be pounding brews on Fulton St for Zion & Garland.

And will absolutely lose it if we can snag Carsen Edwards or Luka Samanic in 2nd round

I’m looking forward to being excited when we draft Garland, and then let down when ultimately trade him away.

It will remind me of when the Pels drafted Nerlens Noel, and traded him for Jrue and a first, then to be later corrected to us having traded Nerlens and a first for Jrue
