I would be careful though. Doc Rivers is not the answer.

Yeah, I think Griffin was a Giannis choice out of a couple candidates they brought to him, don’t know why he would choose him, but never know.

I'm pretty sure Giannis wanted him over Nick Nurse which led to Nurse in Philly. If true, that's a massive mistake by Giannis, Nurse is a fantastic coach. Also why you dont let your star make FO moves.

Yeah, I think it was between Nurse and Griffin and Giannis pushed for Griffin because of, well I’m not gonna go there.

Anyway, Chris Manix says Griffin got fired because Giannis no longer believes in him.

Not saying Griffin didn't suck or anything but Giannis is quickly going from most likeable super star to just another diva a-hole.

Maybe it's just impossible to be great at sports and not be a fricking tool.

I mean, they are supposed to be contending for another title -- that's why they got Dame. And yet, they don't look like a title team (despite the quality record).

I personally think that's more of a function of letting go of Jrue Holiday, as people always underestimate the importance of defense. But the blame has to go somewhere and I guess they decided that it was the coach's fault.

This is definitely what happened along with Middleton falling off.

Trading Jrue hurt them more than it helped

shite like this is why star players shouldn’t necessarily be picking the coach.

Input? Yes. But choosing him over Nurse only to have him fired part way through the season is a huge fricking mistake.

D-lo has been balling out lately low key. But they know Lakers view him as a bench player.

Pretty sure the Lakers don’t have two firsts due to all the deals they have made going on back to the AD trade. And D Lo certainly isn’t bringing that in at his price.

I also question the strength of Atlanta’s negotiating position considering that they are fricked for assets and that payroll is pretty high this year and only getting worse when Okongwu’s extension kicks in.

That is a lot of money tied up in Capella, Murray, Hunter, and Bogdanovich for a team currently near the bottom of the standings. And most of that money is owed across several more seasons.

Murray on a good full 4 year contract after this season give them a lot of leverage. They don't need to offload this season. They can wait until the offseason when more teams can plan for and bid for his contract. Atlanta is sitting pretty demanding a haul.

Luke had security eject a fan for the fan telling him he’s tired and needs to hit the treadmill.

When did these players become this fricking soft?

Apparently that's not all the fan said and he and Tim McMahon got into it during Lukas presser.

I don’t know, listening to that Luka couldn’t say what the guy said before, and apparently none of the reporters heard anything else said. Even still, what kind of league is this if players are so soft minded they can’t handle someone calling them out of shape. Zion deals with it all the time and you never hear him crying about it.
