Idk I just don't really trust "insiders" and wait until actual legit reporters get on it. Understandably people are skeptical after recent events.

Because there were (and are) a lot of reasons to think otherwise.
But, Kawhi doesn't make sense, does he? Oh well. As I said earlier, I am definitely not melting. I'm not happy about the news, but the Lakers could win a title this coming year and that doesn't change anything with our picks at all. And injuries can always happen.
And we don't need those picks to be anything anyway to build a championship team.

They can delay the second pick till like 2025 and a later pick in the other years is still valuable due to the double draft.

That is true but I doubt AD and Kawhi leave the Lakers and those two can then attract other young guys in the future to come play with them once Lebron is done

Neither did I. Yet another sobering day in my NBA fandom. Hopefully we can catch lightning in a bottle and win a championship. But this proves you can do absolutely everything right as a franchise and still left for a horribly run big name team. It really is depressing.

I would never ever wish injury on a player but as far as the picks go Kawhi's quad was putting stress on other parts of his body during the playoffs and he was basically on 1 leg. Who knows how that will play out long term.

Kawhi told three organizations that he would meet with them, listen to their pitches, and then decide. Why would Kawhi hamstring the Clips and Raps by preventing them from making other moves, only to then make up his mind and tell the Clipper and Raptors to go screw themselves before listening to what they had to say?
That's what makes me lose respect for Kawhi.

Maybe. I say that there are good odds that at least one of the three hates the other two by this time next year. It could very easily all blow up.

The load management stuff with kawhii could cause some tension with everyone especially if they aren’t doing as well as they want
