RDA isn’t random if you’ve been following free agency and neither is Rapaport... neither are no where near the prestige of a Woj or Shams but at least RDA has some credibility within the Lakers fanbase (if that counts for anything). At this point, I don't think a leak like that is going to cause a deal to fall through. It's not a Woj tweet or anything like that. Good chance that Kawhi doesn't even hear about it.

Either way, my position remains the same, if he goes to the Lakers, frick Kawhi, I won't wish for injury, but I won't be sad if it happens. Real talk. Because that is the height of selfish cuckery. A team that gave you everything, that you took complimentary trips just days ago from, only to walk away from without any concern.
...Then, shut this shite down. I don't care if it takes three seasons. Fight tooth and nail.
The league needs to strong arm like never before. Hard cap, retroactive tampering rules, and unwinding the superstar driven contracts. Enough is e-fricking-nough.
It is outrageous that in a competitive sport of this level of popularity that all the facets that aim to make a sport comeptively balanced and meritocratic are habitually upended by broken rules and blatant tampering that stacks the league in favor of a small number of mega rich franchises and the players willing to break the rules and blatantly violate the spirit of the league time and again.
There are around a dozen teams that have done everything as close to right as you can, made all the right investments, did all the right things, hired all the right people, made as good of decisions as the fallible human construct can.....And all of that is continually threatened to be upended by unpunished tampering, external market factors allowed to fester unique to this sport, and a broken player/team imbalance that rewards bad behavior and subversion time and again.
Whether he goes to LA or not, this is another reminder that if the league does have temporary parity, it's rarity is a result of luck, not a league that is promoting it.
