Nice to have a coach that understands you just run the same shite over and over through your best player, if they aren't stopping it, in crunch time.

Maybe its the the ex player in him, because its something we've heard Antonio and David Wesley talk about for years.

I swear watching, I love just about every dang player on this team. I just don't love this team lol.

Good to get that first W.

Well don’t think jv spent a lot of time on 2nd unit in Memphis, he was the main guy against every big and when 3j was hurt a lot his minutes climbed. JA loved playing with jv with those big walls opening up lanes for him…

Anyone know why Temple played the last 5 or so minutes over NAW?

I saw it. It was glorious. I'm glad Willie let him play 39 minutes -- SVG definitely wouldn't have done that.

NAW was not playing very good, making dumb passes, leaving his man on defense. Just a bad game for him

He was staggered and allowed to beat up on opposing second units, not that he started on the second unit.

Pels did that tonight as well a bit and he went off.

Hope we keep doing it.

Sons, would 79-3 get us into the playoffs?

NAW ended up with +/- of +11, so it definitely didn't feel in real time like he was killing the team.

I hate to say it but I don’t think there is in fact some magic alchemy with NAW on the starting unit vs bench, like people thought last season.

He is going to give you a game or two where you are blown away with how crazy good he looks, than have two games where he stinks up the court and you question if he needs to be benched.

The problem still seems to be how can you find a steady middle ground where the highs can still exist but the lows aren’t so problematic.

We held MIN to 34% shooting from the field.

Folks, starting Herb is making a huge difference to our defense.

Jonas and Graham both basically played 40 minutes.

There's zero trust in our backup PG and C right now.

NAW didn’t look horrible just mad some bone headed plays.
Graham hit some insane shots
JV was in every Minnesota players head all night.
Ingram finally took over in the final 5mins.

There is your recap

Loved the adjustments by Green. It only took 3 games before he finally ran the offense around JV. I also loved that they are finally running more plays to get Ingram more spot up opportunities.

Herb Jones is terrible offensively but the guy is magic on the defensive end. Whoever he guards have to really work to score. He's a legit defensive stopper.

Graham is a lot better at the basket than his percentages lead you to believe. He might be bad in traffic but if there's good spacing, he's damn good from 5 feet in. You have to imagine all the space he'll have when teams collapse on Zion in the P&R.

We're seriously a 6th man away from being able to compete for a chance to win every night. It's depressing that our bench is so bad.

True, but they were both also totally in the zone tonight. I like the fact that, if a guy is really feeling it, Green will extend them a little.

NAW made some shots when the game was getting close this game. He was shaky at times but had some pretty big plays
