New to this team and board. Not a lot of talent on the floor with two of our best players out. Not impressed with devonte game, his shooting percentage sucks, his d might be worse. Huge surprise at the lack of depth on second unit..like our cupboard is bare. Re jv, he’s play stupidly well, not all sure y’all see what he brings in controlling the paint, rim, inside game. Hayes and Willie giving him no support, like cmon man..give the man someone to work with that is a legit good player like Ingram… we’re lucky to have him at a huge discounted rate..not sure what he saw in this franchise to give us his prime years…I hate rebuild terms, but man we got very little

Your confused on this one. In his last year with the raptors he was mostly on 2nd unit and did feast. Ibaka was used as the number 1 except against the really big studs. Raptors got gasol for jv who played less than one adequate playoff game. Raptors won a championship with gasol on roster, but have regretted making that trade ever since. Well don’t think jv spent a lot of time on 2nd unit in Memphis, he was the main guy against every big and when 3j was hurt a lot his minutes climbed. JA loved playing with jv with those big walls opening up lanes for him…
