We set up nothing to get a pass to half court for 2 dribbles and a shot

What better play do we have other than BI going downhill to try and score?

Ingram had separation from his defender off the inbound pass too just to get that crappy shot

Game is on NAW and JV. Refs fricked us in the end but those two are the culprits tonight

JV had 16/15 and had the best +/- on the team

JV +13
Hayes -14

Thats a fair given his minute load the other night. But we're talking about at least 5-6 plays where he failed to boxout completely before the Collins putback

Until Zion gets back, though, we aren't going to win many games when BI shoots 8-21 for 38%. He was great early in the game, but he was also cold in the 2nd half.

This is just a badly constructed team. Thanks Griff.
We have some pieces, but NO bench.
We have a SG who can't shoot.
And BI just ain't a closer, but is still a good player.
And JV was the least of our problems. He battled all by himself down low and got hacked all night with no calls.
Of course the refs sucked.
Graham was great,BI was real good except late. Jones will be a player.
NAW is terrible as is Marshall.
Will be a tough year.

The hawks were 0-14 from outside the paint... theres no way that holds up over an entire game

BI COULD be a closer if the defense had to respect ANYONE else on the court

This is why we really need to get Josh Hart back. He would've eliminated a lot of those Atlanta OREBs.

Eh I think the team is pretty strong at full health, but unfortunately by time we get to full health (if ever), the season will be all but gone probably

To be fair a 16 point lead with 38 mins left while missing your best player and probably your 5th best player against a far superior team is not much of an advantage.

I’m surprised we kept it close. Probably would’ve ran them out of the gym if Naji or Nickeil could hit 33% of their wide open looks.

This was by far the best game we have played, but it was also against the best team we have played.

We drive the basket don’t get the call. We take outside shot don’t get the call. Unless we just win outright we are not getting game winning calls.
If Zion comes back and we start winning big games we will get those calls. shite teams get no respect.
