As soon as they cut it to 8 they needed to sub in niko and etwaun along with Jrue... letting these end of the bench guys stay out is so dumb its actually hard to comprehend

Yeah I don’t get it either. I guess Gentry was trying to prove a point, but it’s still possible to win an 8 pt game. Not let it blow back up to 20.

This is about as positive as it gets in a loss. No AD so it was practically a guaranteed loss anyway and you got a ton of development minutes for young guys even against starters.

The best outcome they could have hoped for was to develop the young players

That is a great assessment

I actually said this to my son, then thought about it and followed with,”Yeah, let’s pull the guys that cut 20 points off the lead and put back in the guys who got us down by 30.”

I think I would have actually just pulled Timmy and Diallo and put in Jrue/Mirotic.

I liked what I saw in Frank Jackson. He really perked up when Grayson Allen came in. This was good experience for Frank. I liked Okafor too. Would have liked to have had him in earlier against Gobert. No one else coild stop Rudy so he would have been a big bodyvto throw at him.

Frank needs to play more, real minutes, not mop up.
Okafor looked terrible if you ask me. Should have kept Emeka.
Wesley should take solos minutes.
