I think we should fire Gentry but I am not sure who to replace him with?

Coach Cal

But seriously I have no idea who the up and coming assistants are.

And who the coach is doesn't even matter without new BBall Ops.

The first step would be to fire Dell Demps. I would be more than happy to help him pack. Then we get a competent GM to hire the best available coach and rebuild this franchise.

You gotta get a GM worth a frick. What's the point of hirin a great chef if the a-hole buying the food is going to buy a bunch of shite that doesn't fit the menu or made to work with chefs strengths.

I'm regretting letting go of Monty Williams right now.

Bring him back.

Dell Demps should get the walrus treatment and make him coach his own trash roster.

JVG, let him pick his GM, and we go from there.

This team is unfortunately in need of a complete blow-up and rebuild from top to bottom, including ownership.

Unfortunately, if someone were to buy the Pelicans, It would likely be to move them, as Benson was basically bidding against himself to buy them in the first place.

There was also the Chouest group, but the league didn't seem keen on them.

From what I remember he was only willing to put X amount at risk, say $250-$275. While he supposedly had more basketball knowledge and passion, having cash to burn matters too. We probably wouldn't have a new practice facility if he had bought the team.

No doubt about that, but that practice facility has had no positive impact on the team from what I can see.

Lorenzo Romar will be a great replacement and he can bring along Fultz as our #1 draft choice.
