Pels should look to claim Killian, he’s a pass first G. Even when his playing time dwindled, his assists were always fairly high

Who would you drop and who's minutes would you take away?

Hayes has about a $7m dead cap hit associated with him, which is currently on Detroit’s books.
If we claim him from waivers, it is our cost.
If we sign him after he clears waivers, that is different.

Absolutely not.

He is one of the worst players in the NBA. That's not an exaggeration.

Nah. We already have a better version of Killian in Dyson.

The Hawks covet Herb Jones in a potential Dejounte Murray trade, per
@ShamsCharania
.
The Pelicans have held firm on Jones not being included.
Atlanta has had no real traction yet on any Murray trade closing in on the deadline.

Everyone saying they want a Rondoesque guard on the team. Not saying killian is that guy but he looks to distribute before his own shot, I still think he can be good. Bring him over instead of the euro big

I wonder if Hawks ownership presses them to unload the salary and just take offer without Herb. Clock is ticking.

I’ll agree I like Dyson a lot but there are posters who act like he’s hopeless on offense

Don't do it Griff!
There's no way we do it, right?
If Herb continues to shoot it like he has been, he's one of the most valuable (while considering contracts) players in the league.

Hes not remotely close to Rondo and the worst team in the league out right released him. He only passes because the guy has absolutely no other offensive skill set and is basically mediocre for a defensive first guard.

I definitely do not have the temperament to be an NBA GM. I would told the Hawks GM that they can covet Deez Nutz

I don't think any of us can comprehend the level of melt that would occur

I'm one of them. Dysons offensive game is horrid. Needs to stick to finishing at the rim and that float game he had going earlier in the year.
That being said, Hayes offense is right there with dyson and he's not half the defender.

Don't get me wrong, I'm disappointed too, but if ATL is firm on adding Herb in a Murray deal, then Griff is doing the right thing to stand pat.

Definitely. I keep going back to balls. That's what they can covet when they say dumb shite.
