Somehow, if that were the case, Jones would be an even worse hire than Dumars.

Yup, dismantled a good playoff team with nothing to show for it. Booker I’m sure will want out soon enough.

Matt Ishbia does have a lot to do with it, but James has been terrible. Wasn't he the guy that said there was no need for the Suns to invest in a prospect scouting department?

They barely made any draft picks during his tenure.

It's just so hard to suffer so much and only make $72.5 million per year.

Booker may have just become untradeable.

Booker signed an extension. A lot of times guys do that to make the most money and then get traded later.

But this is a different era. It appears he loves it in Phoenix and just wants to stay no matter what the team looks like.

In the Apron era, he is almost untradeable

True! It’s actually refreshing to see a team and its star player being loyal to each other.

How do the Suns justify paying Booker 2/145? Ant got 5/244, is better and 5 years younger.

Welcome to NBA contracts. They're pretty much all awful.

They're not all this bad, though.

The NBA max salary structure screws young stars like Ant.

Tatum has way more skins than Booker. In 3 years, they'll be talking about how much of a problem Booker's contract is for the Suns.

Let's see how long they can keep the team together now that they'll be a second apron team soon at this rate.

They need to figure out which pieces to jettison if they are paying this much for Shai, Chet, and Jalen Williams.

Hartenstein and Lu Dort seem like the first potential casualties.

He is closer to being worth that than the contract Holmgren signed. They are going to have to use some of those many firsts to start filling in the roster and trading away higher paid players. Caruso, Dort and Hartenstein may be at risk for being unloaded.
