he was one of the main people I wanted once we traded back with the Hawks. His basketball IQ is amazing and he has such a natural feel for the game. A lot of teams are going to regret passing on him.

Would be awesome if he could supplant Lonzo and we could get some more assets for him at the trade deadline

This is the most Pels talk post. Player does well. Player has value. TRADE HIM NOW THE VALUE WILL ONLY GO DOWN

Geez, I told you guys. I don’t know how this guy dropped so low. As soon as I started watching him, I was like holy shite, this kid is gonna be amaze balls. I see star potential perhaps but I know its just one game.

Should easily be the second guard coming off the bench after Redick

As good as he looked, it was one summer league game.

I'm not sure I'm ready to give him the keys to the 7th or 8th man role yet. Josh Hart is almost certainly going to get playing time over him the first season, as will Jackson.

If that passing can translate there is a clear role for him to get minutes in between Jrue and Lonzo though, but I would still suspect to see him below 10mpg.

Id ship Jackson out on that 30 point game honestly. I’m rolling with NAW at the backup spot.

You do know that Josh Hart was the Summer League MVP last year right?

I get that you guys are excited, and NAW looked good and ready to contribute this season, but I think the "trade Lonzo" "second guard off the bench" talk should probably be tempered.

Keep in mind the team you are talking about and the players you are relying on to stay healthy.

Aaron Nelson may be good, but there is an even better chance we are going to need our depth.

Under the right scenario, anyone is tradeable at this point, but if Lonzo goes down(as he has every season so far), Hart struggles with bumps and bruises again(as he also has every season), we are going to need the Jackson's on this roster that can step in and keep things flowing....Otherwise, we will be calling up Jordan Crawford's to fill significant minutes.

Why not both? I think NAW helps Frank because instead of wasting time trying to make a scoring guard a point guard like we failed to do with Austin Rivers, we can just let Frank be a scorer now. His ceiling is a Lou Williams type, there’s nothing wrong with having him and NAW at the same time.

NAW is gonna be on the opening day roster. The g league bs ain’t happening. Will wind up playing significant minutes toward the end of the season

This is where I am. Yes, "it's just summer league," but the handle, the passing skills, and the defensive awareness and intensity will all translate.

He's going to be very good, with the long-term potential to be great.

Once we ship Moore out, Frank becomes a lot more useful

His skillset is pretty limited, but a good one nonetheless

Right, if anything, NAW's apparent readiness to be able to contribute soon lends more credence to the thought that Moore should be shipped out before the season starts. This team appears to be very deep at guard at the moment, and could probably use one more wing or big.

Unless roster spots become a major issue, I'm in no rush.

We forget but Moore is still a solid player. An efficient three-point shooter that plays decent enough defense, can guard 1-3, is on an expiring contract at a good rate, and can fit in almost any system.

He is the type of guard a contender may look at giving up a first or young player close to the deadline because of injuries or needing that last glue piece to give them an edge in an area of weakness.

Yeah I get the feeling Moore is being kept for the trade deadline this season. We can roll out what we got and let things fall as they do and let these young guys develop together.

But we lose one of Kenrich or Wood if we don't ship out Moore

I still do really like Wood, but all the rumblings make me think he may be an odd man out for some reason.

I'm ok moving Moore, I just wouldn't want to force it when it's the part of the season you are likely to be paying to move him or at best getting like a token second rounder and salary back.

Loving this interview

I heard an interview with him on Sirius before the draft and was very impressed, as were the reporters. His basketball IQ is off the charts. He really seems to understand the nuances of the game.

Thanks for highlights. At first I was like, meh summer league hype. Then I watched highlights and was like OHHHH SUMMER LEAGUE HYPEEEE! Love how comfortable he is with either hand. His ability to see an open passing lane when it doesn't appear there is one is something most guards take years to learn. I imagine he'll definitely be on the 12 man.
