With all of the injuries we’ve had so far, we aren’t sitting top 3 in the West without this guy. He’s grown tremendously as a player (I think he’s improved more than anyone else on our team next to Jose) and he’s one of our leaders.

It’s guys like Naji and Jose that have me believing that this is a championship roster.

It’s like we tried to clone BI but got the formula a little wonky. Love his hustle and effort and grit.

Jose’s ribs must still be hurting: his shot has been off since that hit.

There was also one play last night where Jose got fouled mid-air near the basket and was holding his ribs on the ground. But then was helped up and seemed like nothing ever happened. Gave me a mini-scare the ribs were re-aggravated.

Naji is like if we took the best traits of E'Twuan Moore and Kenny Hustle and made one player. It feels great that we are at a spot where he is our 8th guy and not a full time starter like he would have been 4 years ago.

I certainly agree that Naji is an unsung hero. But I also feel that we are blessed with several other unsung heroes that show up to play when their number is called.

He's developed into a better player than anyone could have anticipated.

Dude is an absolute dawg.

IMO he's tyreke 2.0 except we're only paying him the minimum. Tyreke on the min is a good player, he was just over payed here

People make really strange comparisons, so it’s my turn. He’s Torrey Craig but not as big but overall better on offense

Naji is a really good defender, Tyreke was not.

The pass he made when he stepped through the double team, shows how much he has improved.

Not really. He was the reason I was fine with Hart leaving because I felt like we already had a better contract version of Hart (although Hart level rebounding isn't there). There were a few people around here that didn't bash him. I guess in fairness to those who were always bashing him, he was quite often just out of control. Wannabe MJ was a legit comparison. He has always been so good in transition it was like that transferred over to other parts of his game. I figured the staff could get that under control and you'd have yourself a guy that you really like having on your team. Just need him to knock down some three's at a little better late and you're really loving him.

Naji is all about making the 3. when he is consistent, his game and others elevate.
