According to
@thekapman
:

1) There’s serious concerns within the Chicago Bulls front office about Lonzo Ball's knee.

2) Lonzo's knee is not getting better and the Bulls front office is concerned about why he still has pain anytime he tries to ramp it up.

It's hard to predict injuries, but it's a good thing the Pels didn't keep him to try and trade later.

Never been a Lonzo fan, but sucks for him.

I was hoping he was arse in Chicago, but not like this.

Lonzo’s had injury issues since entering the league IIRC.

I’m just hoping they don’t try to claim we didn’t disclose his medical issues in the trade. Losing a pick because Chicago tampered and we only got a TPE exception and some bodies out of it would be insulting.

Wow. We lucked out by letting him go. It sounds like this is something he’s going to deal with for the foreseeable future. Ouch.

Sounds like karma is getting them even if the league didn’t.

remember when chris paul's knee joint was "bone-on-bone" after he was traded to the clips, and nobody knew whether he'd ever be the same?

What did Lonzo do that he deserves bad karma?

Not Lonzo, the Bulls for their tampering (I'm assuming is what he meant).

Well, that's silly.

What karma is going to come back on us for all the times we negotiated with players before free agency started?

We got 30 teams with bad karma coming their way, knees are going to start exploding everywhere!

At this point, Griff is either a genius or he has a leprechaun stuffed in his pants pockets.

Correct.

The Bulls and Klutch tampered and announced a deal the second the league opened for business.

The Lonzo case was egregious even by NBA standards.

An RFA announcing a deal just as free agency opened was more than the league could overlook.

Honest question, aren't there deals that Woj/Shams tweet every single year the minute free agency starts?
