I remember when the Hornets were in Oklahoma City Barry Switzer was telling the press "we're gonna steal them from New Orleans". Frig those suckers.

Hurricane Katrina is possibly the only reason Oklahoma City even has one professional sports team. How bizarre.

For sure not an OKC guy, they are a team of hackers, foul merchants, and dirty line-steppers They've acquired very good talent and may win the series, just don't like their style of play.
Maybe that is why we hired Dumars. To show Willie how to do that in today”s NBA. Dumars was pretty good at that with the Bad Boys Pistons.

Again you play in half empty arenas and brag how you not buying tickets. You are not helping your situation. Can’t blame any owner for wanting to move out of NOLA right now. The city is in disrepair, Arena is outdated, and nobody goes to Pelicans games. This situation very similar to the situation in Oakland.
Meanwhile OKC supports its team, The owner and GM gives its team all the tools necessary to win. They don’t whine behind a keyboard and computer screen.
I know it is a tough pill for you to swallow. First step to getting back on track is supporting your team.

Dude you're talking to the wrong guy. I support the Pelicans as much as anyone despite the product they put on the court. That's besides the point. OKC making no bones they wanted to steal our team despite our suffering a natural disaster. Frig those a-holes.

In the end George Shinn did the right thing by bringing the team back. OKC got the Sonics. Seattle got a NHL team. Makes you wonder if we kick Pelicans to curb, Would an NHL team come here?

You continue to make it personal and attack the city of New Orleans and its residents. Let me ask you yet again: in what great city do you reside?

Why are you so defensive? I’m just stating facts. Do you work for the city? You work for absent mayor? Why you knock OKC? Can you blame a team for moving with your city problem? Is asking you to support your team to much to ask?
Why did Wrestlemania change their mind on NOLA?
But you still continue to blame OKC. Be mad at them for what? Because they did things right? Keep denying.

1. Answer the question.
2. I have not knocked OKC. When have I attacked OKC? I'm sure it is lovely there. I hope they win the Championship.
3. You're not answering the question "where do you live" because you want to hurl all the insults but are too much of a coward to face any return fire.
4. Where do you live?

Pistons played hard and were also dirty line steppers but they aimed for the upper body not the knees and ankles. Lou Dort has put a number of players on the injured list for going at the lower body.

Ah yes, let’s censor those who have the courage to speak the truth about NOLA and its corrupt history of leaders that took what was the 3rd largest city in American and reduced it to a non deserving major league city.
Ban them all, they do not like the facts.

Oklahoma City didn’t try to steal anything. They offered and had the means to be a temporary solution. What other decent size city was there?
New Orleans doesn’t give a damn about basketball. It’s all about the Saints and LSU Tigers. Yes, Oklahoma City wanted the Hornets and would have supported the franchise better than NOLA. The Hornets allowed OKC to be a viable pro sports city. In the end, Oklahoma City was fortunate to not have the Hornets and gladly took the non-supported SuperSonics.
Oklahoma City is a fast-growing city and continues to grow. It’s safer here than anywhere in Louisiana. Sure, NOLA is a place to visit for the culture, but other than that, it’s not a place to live. OKC is possibly on the verge of having an NBA title, and is about to host a portion of the 2028 Summer Olympics. Oklahoma City is a world class city with plenty to do. It has come a long way since the 1995 bombing.
I’ll take living in OKC any day over NOLA. I’ve been to NOLA several times. NOLA has the cuisine and culture but it’s no place to raise a family.

Those pregame speeches by trailer park Pat McAfee are really starting to backfire on Pacers.Indiana needs to put him in timeout like they did to Halliburton’s dad.

Get the frick out of here with this revisionist bullshite. They were absolutely angling for Shinn to move the Hornets there permanently before Stern stepped in.

And they’ve proven they can fully support their team. We can’t protect our fans vehicles when parked at games.
Move the shitty team.
