To be fair to me, an awesome and intelligent poster, I was just saying Gayle doesn't love it, but it wouldn't matter anyway because these players all do miscreant shite.

I never understood the pursuit of Watson. I was 100 percent against it.
But that's a fair point. If Gayle didn't stop that, she's not going to care about this either.
For the record, I still think Mickey and Allen should be fired over almost ruining the franchise to get that piece of shite.

The Watson stuff is a good point.
I will say there is at least 1 key difference with it.
Benson had never been burned by Watson and at that time, there was still a lot of debate about what was real and what wasn’t with that case.
Benson has had 4 years of Zion. Gave him and his family the keys to her franchise. And he’s mostly absolutely pissed it away and made us a laughingstock repeatedly for 80% of the 4 years.
Occasionally there is a last straw. This might be it.
In the Watson situation, you were banking on at least some of the accusations being baseless and Watson maturing and turning over a new leaf in his new location. (Similar to whatever team who trades for Zion would be doing).
Rolling the dice on someone you don’t really know to turn it around is definitely different than watching someone up close screw around and lie to your face for 4 years while you pay them good money.

Either Zion smoothed the situation out or his lawyers got involved. Too bad the damage was already done and the media ran with it.
