Yeah, that's old for the NBA.
20 is not old for the NBA draft.
The average age of first round picks for the past few years has been around 20 years and 200 days

I like the player. I think his age is mostly irrelevant.
If he's older than the majority of first round picks, he's old.

He isn't though, he is right in middle.
Players have to be 19 years old within the draft year just to qualify

but this description sounds like Chuck Barkley!
Barkley had historic run-jump explosiveness.
Queen has sneaky athleticism in other ways (balance, coordination, hand-eye, etc.) but is nothing like chuck. Barkley was also like 6-6.
Barkley was a freakshow of athleticism. Kind of a proto-lebron

Was anybody drafted before him older? I honestly don't know.
I think we're being pedantic though. He's a good player.

Yes.

His combine measurements were 6'10.75" in shoes, which is the same as Boogie Cousins combine measurements. I think he can play the 5

Jesus, just looking at Cousins measurements, he was about the same height but 292 pounds!!!
One thing to mention is like Fears, Queen grew an inch in the last year. Not saying either will keep growing but you just never know

Yall are high as frick. 20 is not old. 23 is old for the nba draft

For Queen to hit big he needs to become a good 3pt shooter. Hopefully he can do that

So he’s the opposite of Ben Wallace but lower effort.

I don't know this to be true, but suspect to some extent that Queen is initially Zion insurance. If (when) Z gets hurt, or comes out of the game, Queen does some of the same things Z does offensively (connecting, attacking the rim, etc. albeit not in the same way) to allow the offense to flow. Hopefully they develop some synergy and are able to play together and not be a sieve defensively.

do you know our head coach?

Well, he is black.

Yeah Boogie always tended to have a bit of a weight problem. He did look pretty trim when he played for us though. That fricking rockets game is still seared into my mind

35-40 wins
Good enough for the #1 or #2 pick next season...oh wait..
35-40 wins is not getting you near the number 1 or 2 pick unless you have some mavericks magic

I agree with this. I do think he's KAT light.
Kat had a solid and eventually very good outside shot. Queen has no outside shot. Slightly different there buddy.
