Remember that we learned from our interest in Horford that Griffin had zero interest in adding anyone on a 4 year deal because that would cause potential problems at a time they obviously want to be flexible. You can down play it all you want, but adding a contract like Love's appears to be a non starter.

As it should be. That would be Dell Demps special.

I formed my post before you actually posted his actual measurements boss. Notice that I replied to your 6ft 7in post, not your draft express measurements post that you threw in late in an attempt to cover your inaccuracies.

Also, let’s not forget that you legitimately copied my post earlier about Cleveland’s first so settle down young gun.

Also, you are talking about a height from 10 years ago. It’s likely he has grown at least an inch since then and shoe height is always used in the nba. It was a weird argument that wasn’t necessary in this case. Everyone had already discussed the fit not making any sense. No need to make up some heights.

Peace Out PelicansBrook. Let the adults speak.

Favors might be a long term keeper though...

I agree. I think it's possible everyone is a long term keeper. If Favors works out and Ingram works out, what big money piece are you trading for anyway? Long term Jrue/Ingram/Zion would be your big 3 money makers.

If Ingram doesn't work out, as long as it isn't for health reasons, I have to think he's got enough potential to at least be a neutral large contract like Barnes and Porter. So after this season if you're trading for a max level player he becomes the big salary you put in the trade.

You're one miserable lonely loser with a lot of time on your hands. How many aliases do you have on here? It's retarded, played out, and real goofy. Don't you have your elite weidos to post with. It would suck to be you. Fukk you, your opinion, and everything you stand for. Friendless bitch back on here with the same tired routine.

It’s your Durant money when you already got Steph, Klay and Green... GSW grabbed onto DLO even if he’s less than perfect fit because they know he can get them to that biblical FOURTH max contract player..

Don't confuse DLO with Love. DLO is young and can be flipped for assets if things don't work out. If Love doesn't work out, assets will have to be added to move his contract. The Pels don't want to have to surrender 1st round picks to move an aging max-player. I bet OKC will have to include a few 1sts to move CP3.

You don’t build a family by engaging in risky asset speculation, that’s how you tear a family apart.

Are you still trying to justify this idea? Just let this one go. It's a dud.

I understand wanting to dump contracts for a proven player. Depending on how the season goes, players like Beal, Drummond, LaVine, or Aldridge could be available before the deadline. Any of those players would make an impact.

And all those would be more in our price range

Ball/Ingram + Moore + Miller would work for them

Would not even consider trading for Love unless Pels got at least two unprotected first rounders.

I don’t see how you think this is the approach that Griffin wants to take after listening to him this offseason. He wants to cultivate a family-like culture of growth here to help Zion, Ingram, Ball, NAW, and Hayes grow to their full potential, he doesn’t want to ship them out to bring in some big name star that may hinder the development of the other young guys. He even talked about how he disliked the way that he had to build the team in Cleveland, he felt like they had to fast forward the team timeline. I wouldn’t be surprised if Griff thinks he already has the makings of a championship roster on this team, they just need to grow and develop together. I think he wants to take the Golden State pre-Durant method to team building, not the LeBron superfriends method.

Way too much money for a declining player. We do still need another stretch 4 though. All we really have is Nikolo Melli as a true 4 off the bench and he’s very unproven in the NBA. I wish we could get Robert Covington from Minnesota.
