What game are you watching? So what if DD is leading +\- if it does not translate to wins.
I watched the game and I am a fan of DD and want him to take the next step. But right now, they do not really guard him on defense or put the weakest defender on DD. DD does not make the other teams players work on defense bc DD is not a real threat.
If you cannot see how that hurts ALT you are blind. I was happy to see DD be more aggressive in game 4 bc he has to at least try to be a threat on offense.
When DD drives, they do not worry about him shooting bc he passes out most of the time.

Dude simply won't concede that the guy in year 4 who hasn't even began a 9 figure contract who is averaging 6ppg in 6.5 shots in the playoffs while also being benched for 4th quarters simply isn't playing well.

It's such a low IQ take to not simply discuss how bad Dyson has been, that ATL doesn't even trust him to play 4th quarters...it's really bad right now, and the fact that the poster is arguing Dyson is playing well and better than the other 5 starters tells you everything you need to know about how rational he is.

Using +/- as your ONLY argument in such small sample sizes is something someone who doesn't watch or understand hoops would do. It's useless.
The Hawks are better when Dyson is off the court in the playoffs.
The Hawks defense in the playoffs is the equivalent of the 18th best defense when Dyson is ON the court and 4th best when he's OFF the ourt, therefore we can confirm that Dyson is a liability on defense...according to the TowneDrunkard poster.

According to town's own metrics dyson had another horrible game tonight. 2nd worst plus minus for the starters and played 7-10 minutes less than every other starter.

Suprised you even came post since he was the 2nd leading scorer in those 25 mins of a playoff game, shooting over 63% and 50% from 3 with 5 assists and no turnovers. Guess you trying to get in front of it huh.

This is what they've done to us. In all seriousness I think both of them are being dramatic. Dyson isn't playing great but he still just turned 23. Take away his shooting and he's still avg 7reb/ 6ast/ 2stl at 23 y/o. That does NOT warrant the current hate. Town, give it a rest the hate is overblown but so is the defense.
Can we acknowledge that Dyson is averaging 2 times the Reb/ Ast of Herb for their career along with more elite and consistent defense? Oh and Dyson is about 6 months older than Herb when Herb was drafted.

No it’s that many posters like Shel and WhatIDontknow went all in on DD never amounting to anything and saying Hawkins was the better prospect and should be kept, then moved on to Herb being the better player and shoukd have been kept, then went on to DD would never start in the league, then to he woukd never be in a rotation on a playoff team, to he’d never start on a playoff team, to now he won’t ever finish the 4th quarter on a playoff team. It’s just contact goal post moving until they can get a W.
They have lost every battle and I don’t help matters by constantly reminding them of the bad takes on here so we are at this point. They just trying to get one win or an ‘I told you so’ after the barrage of idiotic takes that have blown up in their faces since he was traded.
I don’t make these threads, just like this one. Or the season long Herb vs DD thread that Whstidintknow started and finally abandoned.
