What are the chances of Zion ending up a pelican?

If the Knicks get the pick, pretty good. Outside of that, slim

@ScottDKushner
Based on every indiciation the Pelicans have been given, Danny Ainge and the Celtics are not scared off by any of the Anthony Davis reports and fully plan to go after AD this summer.
As long as that’s true, I find it hard to believe this saga ends by Thursday.

Around 17%-24%. The Knicks 14% of getting the #1 pick, and by the time the Pels finish losing most of the remaining games they'll probably have odds between 3% and 9% of winning the lottery themselves.

Interesting...
I swear I've read this before somewhere. Early this morning perhaps?

Fck the Balls, father and son. If he was that important like they thought, he would no be on the trading block.
What would most people consider a good trade with NYK now? Have to realize they just made a trade of their own with the Mavs and the majority of the players people wanted are now in Dallas. So do you take the picks hopefully landing Ja Morant, Zion, or RJ Barrett with a couple of those old Mavs?

Pelicans can get rid of Solo for a much better deal if needed, and honestly, while cap space is great, he becomes an asset next season as an expiring. If you want to grab assets, Solo becomes one next year. Why give the LAL that flexibility for something you won't need in that form right away.
The biggest mistake the Pelicans can do is try to rush things again and end up in a worse situation. Screw the Lakers. There is nothing they can offer that is worth it.

The players people want from the Knicks are primarily the #1 pick, which they haven't won yet, Knox and all the future picks they can give us, which they now have more of thanks to the Porzingis trade. And they traded Porzingis for several reasons, one of which was he told them he wouldn't resign with the Pels if he got traded here.

but but but he said he wouldnt resign there so the celtics are obviously not giving up anything......idk how do the eye roll so note the sarcasm in the post lol

Considering the bidding will accelerate in the offseason, not decline, it isn’t like there was a huge rush to dump him.
The way AD handled this pretty much justified sitting his arse from now until the sunmer. The league won’t say shite after all the tampering and the fines over the demand.

Wouldn't silver be well within his rights to block a trade to LAL for the tampering ?

“Basketball reasons”?
Probably not since the league doesn’t own the team this time.
Doesn’t mean they won’t “coincidentally” not get paperwork in time if such a deal is finalized.

No 4 or 5 in the bunch. Nah. Wait until the summer.

Lakers' own draft picks aren't worth crap.
