Wishful thinking. That would be a bad arse lineup though.

I'd expect him to get closer to $9 - $12 million. on a 1 or 2 year deal.

I'd love to amnesty Okafor

And I'm sure Benson would love to pay him $10 a year to play for another team.

Kaman is a short-term center with hardly any chance of being young enough to compete when the hornets are ready to win a championship. We need a younger player at least under 26 who'll be healthy when we're ready.

I'm pro Kaman. I like the idea of a situational line-up of Davis, smith and kaman. Lots of length that can stretch the defense.

Would LOVE to keep Kamen. He's not the answer long term, but he could for sure help the next 3

Help what? Take away shots from better players or ensure the Hornets reach the salary cap each year?

He is a mediocre player. I have not and will not ever understand the love affair with an an average 30 year old C.

Because obviously you don't know how rare average centers are in the game today.

Then appreciate Okafor who is already under contract for us, will fill a need for a year, and will become a valuable trade asset at one of these next 2 trade deadlines. We're already sinking over $12MM into an average veteran center who's not in our long term plans. We don't need to throw another $8MM at Kamen as well.

When I step back and take an objective look at things, if you're going to choose between the two, Okafor is the better choice. He's undersized and is limited offensively, but the guy is pretty solid and has stepped up in some big games. Long term, we need more length and versatility at the position, no doubt.

Why are you just blurting out unrelated points like someone's drunken uncle? Damn, son. Also, his name is KamAn. He's been in the league for years. Played for the Hornets. His name was on the back of his jersey, spelled correctly. I know the A works on your keyboard, so you really have no excuse other than stupidity.
