Some bad decisions late. Tried to go 1 on 4 to the rim. Lost the hall while we were down 3.
Repeatedly let Westbrook blow his doors. To be fair Westbrook does that to many. Slow him down though shite.

You think shooting 5/17 is average for PGs?

Three games.

Three games and this board wants to ditch Holiday.

He's averaging 16 pts 7ast with 3 turnovers a game this year shooting an eFG% of 51%. And by and large plays good to great defense.

He's had three bad games (my apologies about the mavs game. I didn't see his shooting%).

He also has one of the worst coaches in the league.

He also lost every guard he played significant minutes with outside of Moore.

So forgive me when I say that y'all are dumb for wanting him gone after three fricking games. He's a good pg. It's just a shite situation with our terrible coach and lack of guard depth.

He's a shooting guard without a pass first mentality who looks off players and only feed the big men and dribble dribble dribble into trouble to throw it out and sometimes luckily finds a big in the paint.

No, about half the board has wanted to ditch him for a while and in classic Interwebz confirmation bias fashion they are using this 3 game sample to prove they were right all along.

Although to be fair I think most of us have felt for a while that Holiday wasn't the lead guard this team needs and the only reason half the board was still ok with him is because he can play SG too.

I do get pissed off everytime Gordon has a big game for Houston. Seemed he just could stay healthy or do much here.

He talked about never having a defined role here and that makes sense given our terrible coach.

I can agree with that last sentiment. He does need to get his head out of his arse.

You're assuming quite a lot from my comments. My comment was that Jrue has played like trash since the break and if he had just played like an average guard we likely have two wins right now. I didn't say drop him or jumped to conclusions that this can't or won't get better....Though consistency has always been an issue with him.

You said it yourself you had not informed yourself on how inefficient he was last game.

And you further prove my point, he just averages his season averages on only slightly lower percentages, without the completely bonehead turnovers that are inexcusable and weren't from lacking synergy with new teammates, and we likely win both those games.

Jrue needs to put in non-stop film study and practice sessions before Wednesday because he is the key to us making the playoffs or handing the Kings a 4-6 drat pick and stuck with a hard choice this offseason.

That is not average. 29% shooting that game is well below average shooting for a guard and that is roughly what Jrue is averaging since the break as well.

His averages since the break are, and I am not joking:

28.9 FG%
14..3 3p%
6 assists
5.8 TO

Dallas was his high point game and by any account it was not even an average performance.

He's literally a joke these last few games, shooting 20% with turnovers galore. At one point in the second half last night he just drove the lane and threw the ball straight in the air, I was at a loss.

All you Jrue nuthuggers can diaf, the biggest mistake (since weve made quite a few) would be to give that always hurt, cant pass, chucker a MAX contract.

People get silly about max contracts. The nature of max contracts means that guys who deserve a little less end up getting the same amount as the top tier guys who should be paid much more. If AD and Boogie were able to make as much as they are truly worth, guys like Jrue would probably make about $5M-$10M less per year.

That said, he's not a chucker at all.. Health has been a bit of an issue, but he has been pretty healthy this year. All that being what it is, he is going to be overpaid on his next contract. Overpaid is kind of the market for his level of player, unfortunately.
