Jrue Holiday is questionable tomorrow. Left elbow contusion.

I bet he misses a few games at least, he looked to be in a lot of pain when it happened.

Aww damn, we can’t afford to lose Holiday to injuries right now.

Zion must be coming back. Lose a player gain a player

I think you mean we can't afford to ruin his trade value.

Zion is officially “out” for tomorrow’s game as if there was any doubt.

Hopefully this means more NAW and not more Frank. Frank looks like a high school player right now

Hey, I know off topic. But I remember reading about Okafor having a payment owed if on team by 1/11, so may be released before then. Does anyone have any news to enlighten me? Amount owed, if it is in fact going to happen, etc?

His contract becomes guaranteed on the 11th

He would have to be released tomorrow to avoid it being guaranteed, to give time for him to clear waivers

He won't be going anywhere though

So he will stay with Pelicans. Thanks, Soggymoss. My son had some wild idea that Love was being traded to Pels and that somehow Okafor was a piece.

I appreciate it

Okafor is considered a good locker-room guy and we're under the luxury tax, and Gayle can afford the money, so we aren't cutting him to save salary.

To trade for Love it would take 24 million in salary going out which would mean it would take a combination of either:

Moore, Miller and Ball

Or

Redick, Miller, Okafor, Frank and Kenrich

Or

Favors and Miller

In other words, we would be giving up way to much in any deal for him. Cleveland would have to at minimum take the protection off the 1st rounder we have of theirs, which won't happen.

Trading for Love means committing $91 million to a 31-year-old player whose skills are in decline.

Love definitely has negative trade value.

If I'm Griffin, I definitely want an unprotected first to even consider that, besides the fact that we'd have to give up a player that we actually like and use.

Jrue had a collision with I believe Harry Giles that knocked him to the ground. He came up wincing and holding his arm. I didn't see a clear collision with his arm or where he fell awkwardly on it, so my first thought was maybe he got a stinger or hit his funny bone since he stayed in the game. But he was in a good bit of pain when it happened.

Hope that means minutes for NAW

Know that means more minutes for Frank and Kenrich
