People saying Beal is better doesnt magically make it so. I dont think ANYONE woukd argue his D is close to as good. His numbers on O are almost identical. The only conclusive "improvement" is 3 years younger. Does his attitude fit? Would the chemistry work? Would be ok playing 3rd fiddle to BI and Zion if needed?
Seems like more risk than benefit to me. IF we are ready in 3 years, Jrue will be 32. That is certainly young enough to be the 3rd best player on a championship run.

Well he's not getting moved until the offseason so theres no point in bitching.

I love jrue.
If you cant keep both
I'd deal lonzo, who cant shoot ft.

I am ok with no moves until after season.
Maybe 8th, maybe 7th, as is.
So many variables.

It’s not that complicated. Jrue is a good player and an elite on ball defender, but he just doesn’t shoot well enough to be our ideal fit at off guard. He’s a talented scorer, but inconsistent. We’d work best with a younger, bigger SG who shot around 40% from behind the arc and 80+% from the line and didn’t need the ball that much. Might be a deal to be done to get that kind player, though agree it would probably happen in the offseason.

Has there ever been a more inconsistent player in the NBA? Seems like this guy is heralded as a hero after some games and the next game he’s labeled a bum that doesn’t try hard enough. Really weird.

There's the problem. Hot take fans who are stupid and change their mind after every game. Every NBA player is inconsistent to some degree, Jrue is no different. He as an above average player who has way more above average games than bad games

Not that difficult a choice if limited to those two.

This board seems to be split on him. I will say this, how is his movement on offense without the ball?

I got a game day email from my ticket rep and they are touting BI and Zion only. That's either a cryptic sign or Jrue may be in some trade talks. Zo wasn't mentioned either, but I think he's definitely safe for this year. Jrue rhymes with YOU, so maybe he accidentally left it out.

We are young.

We are immensely talented.

We have a plethora of upcoming draft picks.

We have an incredible front office.

We have heart, hustle, and leadership.

We have Ingram.

We have Zion.

We need you!

Jrue just needs to do the annoying "AAAAYYEEE!" everytime he drives if he's going to get a call. He literally just got fouled by two guys at the same time.

I’m not sure trading him helps the team but I hate watching this guy. His offense is putrid

Ive always liked the guy, he’s inconsistent like every player seems to be. They all have off nights. His defense usually is there, regardless.

Since the beginning of the calendar year

Jrue is 19 of 59 from 3 for 32%

Zo is 44 of 123 for the league average of 35%

and our 3 point ace JJ is 39 of 77 at 50%. Why does Zo have 46 more 3PT attempts then JJ?
